Visa Requirements
Latvia is a member of the European Union and the Schengen Area. Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to enter Latvia.
EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens: No visa required.
Other Nationalities: Please check with your local Latvian embassy or consulate for visa requirements. You can also check the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia for the latest information.
Invitation Letters
If you require an invitation letter for visa purposes, please register for the conference first and then contact the organizing committee at qip2026@lu.lv with:
- Your full name (as it appears on your passport)
- Your passport number
- Your affiliation/institution
- Your registration confirmation number
Please allow sufficient time for visa processing. We recommend applying for your visa at least 2-3 months before the conference.
Important Notes
- The invitation letter is provided solely to assist with visa applications and does not imply any financial commitment from the organizers.
- Conference registration and payment are required before an invitation letter can be issued.
- Please ensure all information provided matches your passport details exactly.
